Today I finally sent in my $1000 deposit to confirm my spot on the Fall 2009 voyage of Semester At Sea! I should get my room assignment within the next couple of days! It also gave me a list of all these documents that I need to have filled out and send in. It is kind of weird thinking that is actually going to happen! I mean it is on of those things that i have talked about for so long and it seems like it is far away, but it really isn't. I mean 280 odd days may seem like a long time, but I know it will go by quickly! One more hurdle down - only about a trillion more! 

Maybe I am totally taking this Semester At Sea thing for granted - wait scratch that I know I am. I mean come on! I am getting the chance to sail around the world and visit 9 or 10 AMAZING countries! Maybe those places are not exactly where I wanted to go, but that shouldn't get me down! I am going to be able to do something that less than 1% of the population of the world can say that they have done. And I get college credit...what more could I ask for?

All I have left now is still to send in my deposit. Then the ball starts rolling.

A little update on Disney. Today is the campus meeting. Tomorrow I will most likely have my phone interview. Then in two or three short weeks I will know my fate for next semester. If I don't get it I don't know what I will do. I mean I have banked on this so much and it would just be my luck to not get it the one time I actually want to go. Only time will tell!!!
